Is there a way to apply additonal masks on top of a RotoBrushed layer?
It works when i precomp the layer, but not on the actual layer itself.

Just to clarify, i have a layer that i used the RotoBrush on……then “Froze” the frames, went back to my main timeline and am trying to add a simple circle mask over the layer….

    thanks guys,

The order of operations is masks and then effects. If you apply a mask to a layer, then you’re going to mess with the effects that you’ve applied to the layer. Roto Brush is an effect.

As you noted, precomposing works. Do that.
