  • Adding Meta tags to existing WMV files?

Posted by Adam Taylor on June 28, 2013 at 8:55 am

i’m not sure where the appropriate form is to sk this, so i’m sticking to the room i visit most!

I have been asked to see if there is anyway that i can add metadata to existing (and also new) wmv files, and once its added, how to get them read by MS Access database software!

Essentially, we need to add the product codes for those seen in the videos, to allow the database to link them to the correct product pages. If it were one product per video – easy! just rename the file…but there are many different ones in each, andi want to avoid duplicatig the videos just to change the name

I dont use the Database software myself, and the person setting up the database is also fairly new to it.

I have various apps on the mac, (FCP, quicktime, Flip4Mac studioHD, Adobe Media Encoder, MPEG Streamclip)….

Any advice on how to achieve this?
    or even if its possible!

    thanks
    Adam
