Hi, I have shape layers with multiple groups (shapes, strokes and fills) within them. I was wondering if there is a way to add an effect like gaussian blur or drop shadow to just one of the shapes within the layer. Example, I have a Head of a character that was brought in from Illustrator and converted to vector shape. But I’d like to add some drop shadow under the eyes but can’t without adding to the whole head. I know I can just create another shape layer and do it to that, but I’d like to keep it neat and tidy within one layer if possible. Thanks! You guys are the best

I’m afraid you’ll have to have a separate layer.
