  Adding Flags to footage

  I am beginning a 24p edit (23.98). I have been given some footage converted from HDCAM to 720 60p. There are no 60p flags (user-bits) on the tape and I can’t frame rate convert it. I have tried to convert it in compressor and in the timeline, but it looks jumpy.

  Is there any way to add a 60p flag to the footage? I don’t mind it being slow-mo, but without the proper flagging, I can’t convert it.

  Suggestions welcome.
