Adding elements to the track/timeline
I’ve seen videos where the NAME of the element, be it audio or video, is displayed on the track alongside the element. But when i do it i just see numbers like 00:00 and 00:30:23 in little white boxes.
How can I get it so the element name shows up? If I drag file “movie.avi” it will show up as “movie” in the little white box?

This is for Vegas Pro but it should be available in Movie Studio as well. -
Thanks..btw the numbers always seem to read 00:00 what do they mean? I figured it was the start and the end of the element or event I should say.

That’s correct Paul.
BTW, if you don’t want to see them, you should be able to turn those numbers off.
I’m not sure which option location to suggest though as I don’t have those numbers showing on my clips.
