Hi, I’m new to Sony Vegas and am still struggling with the basics. I am currently working on a car chase scene where one of the shots looks up towards the driver. The shot was taken separately from the area of the chase, so I masked out the window and added a section from the shot. It doesn’t have to be perfect because the shot is only displayed for about a second, but I was wondering if there was a way to apply radial blur to the driver shot and the shot being applied to the masked out area. Is there a way to do this without separately rendering the two together and then adding the effect? Thank you

Did you try the pre/post toggle button?

You can find the pre/ost toggle button on the left side of the timeline which is present in the FX window. This button determines in which order the effect is applied.
