Im trying to create a DVD of my final edit to send to my director but she has asked for burnt in timecode on screen. I know its possible with avid express to add a track that has time code and it then has to be rendered but i cant find a way of doing this with final cut.
is it possible and if so how?
    Cheers

Effects > Video Filters > Video

Or you can type in the word “timecode reader” in the FCP Help menu.

I realise it doesn’t help you or our workflow right now but we can’t wait for Compressor 3 and the ability to burn in a timecode window.
