Adding audio tracks to a finished sequence…
Hi Creative Cow Staff,
I just trashed every single piece of video in my hard drives so I could do the online for the movie I’m working in, you know with better resolution, from 10:1 to 2:1, now I need to send this online to the sound designer, but I just worked with the mix (a7 a8) and he needs the rest of the tracks (the sound is multitrack from a1 to a8) and I want to know if you can help me to figure some way out to import the rest of the files, since they have timecode and an specific name it should be just like the video tracks except that I don’t have a .flx file to recognize the data… I’m really desperate and I really want to know if there’s an option with avid to import the rest of the audio tracks in this finished sequence… I think I’m complicating my life more than I should be doing… just help me, that’d be a lifesaver!

Use SynchroArts Titan3 to convert a 2-track based cut in EDL form into a PT session linking to the original 8-track BWF files.
Also, there is supposed to be a way to make this happen in PT7, but I don’t know the specifics.
