  Adding a second switch to an ISIS 5000

  I couldn’t find anything definitive in the various multitudes of paperwork that came with my ISIS system on this. My questions requires a little bit of setup:
  My company moved to a larger building that was being built out, we put in a 16TB ISIS 5000 in the server room. We share the building with another business, so its located in a shared server room. The ISIS is located on the other side of the building but has 5 direct runs, one to each of our 4 edit suites and one to an ingest station. My questions is, can I get a small 4 to 8 port gigabyte switch and put it inline with the ingest station to run a couple of producers ISIS lines so they can log footage from their systems?
  I’m the editor with a little tiny bit of advanced networking skill, so I became the ISIS admin by default. Now that the building is finished, I really don’t want to have to run more 200+ foot lines if I don’t have to.
