Adding a new link to a pre-existing menu chapter point
I created a new Encore CS4 project from a single timeline with 17 specific chapter points. I used a main menu that links to 2 sub-menu pages splitting up the 17 chapter points between them. I set my links for both sub menu pages. Whenever I open a sub-menu page and select one of the title/buttons in Properties in the Basic Tab, the number field shows that particular number. I noticed that on both pages, the numbers were not in numerical order as I clicked down the menu. I changed them so that they were – Page 1 has 9 selections, and in Properties they show 1 through 9. Page 2 has 8 selections, and in Properties they show 1 through 8. Is this correct procedure? Anyone?
