  • Adding a key frame with same settings?

    Hi,

I enjoy using keyframes for animation effects in PP2 but I am wondering if there is an easier way to add a new keyframe further down the timeline when I in fact don’t want the settings to change.

    eg.

I keyframe scale and postion at start of clip
I move 2 seconds in and set scale to say 80%.
I want scale to stay at this 80% for 3 seconds..so I move the CTI 3 seconds further along…

now at this point I just want to set a new keyframe at 80% so I can then change the scale effect to something else later in the clip …

if I press the stopwatch..it will ask to delete all keyframes…I just want another keyframe…

The only method I have is to physically drag the scale slider one way..then back other way to exactly same setting…..

this works..but is just a bit clumsy..

Is there some other button/shortcut that will simply add a new keyframe..using the existing setting?

    Thanks.
