Add To Camera Archive
Is it possible to add to a Camera Archive? I’ve got a couple of Interviews on HDV tape that I have stored as Camera Archives. The tapes are only half full and now I’d like to fill them with B-roll, and add the additional footage to the existing archives. Can this be done, or am I going to be overwriting the existing Camera Archive?

As far as I know the camera archives a one-shot deal. They’re really meant to be the equivalent of cloning your media. You can always create a new archive with just the b-roll. And of course, you can import all the archives into a single event once you start editing with the added advantage that the archive name become the reel name in the clip’s metadata.
