Add picture to video track
Hello.
I´m an new user of Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 and having some trouble with an simple thing. After reading the manual few times i still cant get it working properly.
The problem:
When i have an video running i would like to add an pciture for an preriod of time in the upper right screen. I have added the picture in an separate track and resized with together with red glow and shadow. Now when my video is reaching the point where the picture needs to popup nothing happens…. If i decrease opacity of the main video i see my picture but i needs to be on the front and not the back. Also if i change compositing mode my picture is shown only not clearly but mixedup with main video.
What do i need to change to get picture ontop of main video without beeing transparant(spelling?)??

Move that event (the PIP video) to the topmost track, or at least above your main footage.
Vegas works with a heirarchy structure that is dictated by track placement. The topmost track’s contents will be on top of all the other track’s contents.
