I’m in a bit of a bind. I would like to add a comment directly into the timeline text. Presently I can just see the clip name. Is it possible to see anything else like source or duration or hopefully comments?

    Thanks,
    Trev.

FCP can be very powerful if you just dig deep into it.

Set a marker on your clips and add whatever comments you want.

Timecode overlays will allow you to see in/out duration.

Hey Steve, thanks for the feedback. What I’m really looking to do is see a comment or any logging info of my own choosing directly in the timeline. As in, I’d like to see a comment directly on the segment in the timeline, the way you can see the clip name on the segment in the timeline. Any ideas?
    Again, thanks for help.
    Trev.
