  • Add Channel Logo on a 360 video After FX

    Hi,
Are there any way I can add still 2d images (Channel logo, text graphics) in a 360 video in After FX. A great example is a Channel Logo. I want to be able to add 2d graphics and text but not related with camera movement of a VR 360/Vr of the video. Like if it was parented to the cam in translation and rotation. I hope it makes sense.

    Thanks for the help,
    David

Nope sorry. When you create a 360 video, you’re creating a large, flat projection of a sphere. 3D video websites like YouTube then let you scan around the video, as if it was wrapped around. It’s not the same as a 3D gaming environment or even AE’s own 3D.

But, I do know YouTube have that D.o.G. Option in their channel settings that let you have a channel logo in the bottom right-hand corner. No idea if it works with 360 videos, but that would solve your problem (if you’re using YouTube)

    Hey Graham,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah you rite about the youtube 360 videos. I found a solution to make everything work and indeed is using Unreal or Unity and exported using html5. I am hitting the wall of resolution now. Need to find a solution. I wanted to use Youtube since it is the most standard one.

    Thanks for the help,
    David
