Activating
I am trying to activate a new install of MC6. This is an upgrade version. I get through all the screens on Avid License control application and get the little “activating” clock but it has been going for 30+ minutes now. Is this normal?

Something seems wrong. My version deactivates and reactivates in seconds. I would try contacting Avid.

Make sure you don’t have Little Snitch blocking the port. Also check the settings of your firewall, if yours is active.

Little Snitch not installed and Firewall is off. We have 2 full MC6 licenses and one upgrade license. I input the full license system ID and serial and activation was successful. It the upgrade version I am having problems with. Could be I have the wrong codes.

Yes I did! Marianna. For some reason our serial number was wacky. She issued a new one and all went great.
