I can’t figure this out. I was wondering if there was a way to select a video clip in the Program window itself as a way of moving it without opening the video effects window and going to the motion tab. I don’t use after effects and I’m sure you can do that there.

See pic. I want to click those dots within the program window and move them with my selection tool.

Your pic didn’t make it. But if you do go into the Effects window and untwirl Motion, you should see a little “box” on the top line that you can click. It will give you handles in the Program screen so you can manually resize and position. You can still set your keyframes in the usual way.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2014 (as of 7/2015)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
