Accessing HD video uploaded to the Web from a second party?
Is there a way someone can upload HD video online and a working partner elsewhere in the country can access it and edit with it directly online using FCP? Or would such video have to be downloaded by the second party? If either of these options is currently available, any specific names of companies would be appreciated.

You won’t be able to edit with it directly online. You would have to download it.
Any FTP site with enough space would work. But we use Marco Solario’s Media Batch product because it makes the process even easier, no FTP required, just log in to a website. My clients really love it.
Web hosts like BlueHost.com offers 600GB of space for very reasonable prices.
