  AC3 Import..does it work

  I am finishing a project on a Symphony Nitris.

  I will be getting a pair of audio tracks that will be 5.1 Dolby and AC3. The mixer is using a software program to create the AC3 files from his protools mix. In this case I will have to import the files into the Symphony and output the sound and picture to tape.

  Are there any problems dealing with the AC3 files and will they still be AC3 files after I import them and output them to tape (via SDI input).
