ac3 audio file inexplicably reported as 7gigs in DVDA. Actual file is 170mb.
I’m losing my mind.
I’m using Sony Vegas 11.
I render my video as required. Render file comes out at 4.2g.
I render the audio separately as AC3. Render file comes out at 170mb.When I put them in DVDA, the video file is still 4.2g, but the audio is reported at 7gigs!
I’ve tried re-rendering audio. I’ve searched online for a solution. I’m lost.

I periodically get a warning that the total file size is too large. When that happens I just ignore the waring and proceed as I usually do. No more complaints from DVDA 🙂
What happens if you ignore the warning? Can you still prepare/burn? -

Thanks for the responses – I read that elsewhere, and I tried it, but the “next” button is grayed out and can’t be clicked. There’s no way to ignore it…
I had 2 tracks of audio mixed, but I took one track out and the file size became small again, but I really need that second track.
Very bloody odd….

Is this two separate audio tracks that you’re trying to bring into DVDA or is it two separate tracks in Vegas that you’ve mixed together?
