    I insert video clip in sony vegas pro 12 on timeline . it has sound also so there is audio and video both file included in it. now I have to work with just sound file. so by which command I can separate the video and audio file.. I research a lot in manual but I couldn’t find it kindly help…

    Select the event (either the audio or the video portion) then press the ‘U’ (ungroup) key. This is the keyboard shortcut for Edit>Group>Remove From. Then you can select either the audio or video portion and move/delete independent of the other.

    Just simply delete the video track located above the audio track.
