About After Effects 7.0
Hello, I just recently got into working After Effecs 6.5. Just then I was told that 7.0 is out and I am considering getting it. However, I am told that the entire interface is different in 7.0 from 6.5, and that some people refuse to use it. Is 7.0 worth purchasing and relearning?

we just got 7.0 – and it is definetly not a matter of re-learning the software…..it looks different. I think it looks better, and is much more customisable…… but if you know 6.5 you will be fine in 7.0. It takes a couple minutes to setup your workspace and work out where some of the buttons have moved to, and then your fine.
Have a read around the web of the new features and then decide if they will be benifical to you.
