  • AAF of jpegs from avid to premier pro makes Insert Editing go kaplooey

I imported an aaf from Avid and the video clips came in fine but the jpegs were each 12 hours long, although I had set Still Duration in Premier for 5 seconds (they were 5 seconds long on the Avid timeline as well).
Also when editing the jpegs I was only able to overwrite them. Insert Editing was greyed out.
If I drag the jpegs from the drive into Premier, I can insert edit (but they’re still 12 hours long).
Anyone else suffer from this malady?
    Thanks,
    John
