AAF import issue – clips with offset
Hello
I’ve experienced some issues when I import an AAF into Resolve.
Specs:
AAF with link to media from Avid 5.5.3
There is only one video track and no dissolves or effectsThe project.
1080p 25fps
DNXHD 120
Multicam – which has been committed
Shot on: Sony PDW-700 / XDCAMDaVinci Resolve 8.2
Media: DNXHD 120The import goes smoothly and all the media is reconnected, a lot of the clips has though an offset of 1-2 frames. I see this when I use the mixed vipe and match up my reference video and the timeline in Davinci. This means that I have to manually move almost every clip 1-2 frames to get it in the correct spot.
What I’ve tried so far.
In Avid
– AAF with consolidated media
– AAF with protocol, Marks, selected tracks
– I even tried to make an AAF of the timeline before it was cleaned up to one track – I am actually glad this didn’t work.
– EDL – that didn’t work at allIn DaVinci
– Started a new project and added the media to the media pool againAny suggestions would be appreciated
Yours Sincerely
