    Hello,
I’ve edited a long project in Da Vinci 12.5.
I have to export an AAF for the audio engineer (I don’t want to export consolidate media, just the AAF).
I’ve selected my sequence > File > Export AAF.
The audio engineer cannot relink the media in ProTools as the AAF is saying that the format of the audio files is MXF.
I tried to import the AAF in a new project in Da Vinci and it works fine, it relinks the files.
Why is that happening? What shall we do?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Valentina,

I’m having a similar issue. Were you able to find a solution?

Your Pro Tools engineer may find that Conformalizer is a better choice to put together audio sessions from Resolve and some other editing programs:

    Hi Nikolai,
I didn’t fix the problem in Resolve, the audio engineer played his magic on his side but still don’t know what he did!
Will let you know when I know.
