  A timely revision might be in order

  I just noticed that the “Featured Forums” area on the main Cow page still says the following:

  “HDV Format
  HDV is a new format using a 1280×720 image area compared to DV’s 720×480.”

  I think it might be time to take off the word “new” at this point. People coming to the Cow for the first time might think we’re behind the times instead of actually being right on the very cutting edge at all times as all Cows really are.
