  • A Stupid Question but How Do I Make A Layer Follow Movement of an Object

I’m trying to superimpose a head onto a body, as the head/shoulders are out of shot and progressively enter the shot, yet I need the head/shoulders to show from the beginning.

I’ve tried doing it manually, but the movement is jerky (example: upper body is at 70% angle, while the hips show it should be at a 90% angle), and every time I try to use Track Motion & select Position and Rotation, it assumes that the object is going to gradually rotate around one point, which is not even remotely close to what is happening.

I’ve Motion Tracked several points on the waist/hips and the track is good, but getting the layer above to follow that path, including rotation, is simply not <i style=”font-weight: bold;”>working.

    What am I doing wrong?
