A strange thing happened after burning to DVD …
Hi folks.
Today I rendered an MPEG-2 video in Veags 6 and viewed it in Windows Media Player to ensure it looked ok. Happy with the end results I then burned the mpeg2 video onto a DVD as a basic DVD data file (using NTI DVD software). But the odd thing is, when I play it on a DVD player, the credits are almost chopped off left and right.
In other words, its as if I had mis-judged the ‘safe area’ sizes while making the video, and now the credits/text etc are very close to the edges of the screen ….yet when I play the same Mpeg2 video on Windows Media player, everything looks just fine with lots of space around the borders.Ive tried altering screen sizes on the television, but to no avail.
Odd!
Any ideas?
Cheers.
