    Hey,

    I had this before:
When im ram-previewing end set it to entire comp, it sometimes happends it doesnt preview it fully. Sometimes at the half of the comp, sometimes at the end or even at the beginning. No matter what i do. It can be preview further. Right now im just making some strokes(with stroke effect) on a line mask, so it not a heavy comp or anything. And they are going slow aswell.

The second, and this i noticed freq, i see that all of the solids or ai files or whatever are a bit blocked(pixels at the borders). And i dont know why. As far as i remember this wasnt the case a month ago(i have a new intel mac sins 4 months).

A while ago i was changing some prefercence setting(not a good idea), im thinking sins then all of this happend.
So maby it has to do in my preferences? I dont know.

    Using mac
    Intel xeon pro quad core
    2.66 ghz
    2 ram
    ATI Radeon x1900xt 512 mb

    Thanks
    T

    Peace

The ram preview is based on the amount of ram that you have. You have 2gb, but that still is not enough to watch a long segment.

The blocked pixels may be due to your preview settings not set to full, or the continuous rasterize button may not be turn on. It is that little sun looking icon in the column along with the shy and 3d buttons.

    The full is always on.
The sun icon is only needed when scalen or using 3d in nw 3d comp.
Normally a simple solid with a cirkel mask looks great but now it isnt. It remains the same when turning sun icon.

    Someone?

    Grtz

    Peace
