    A quick computer/Vegas optimization guide ??.

I have been using Vegas exclusively since its inception.
Praying that the makers of soundforge would make a multitracker. Voila !! the day finally came.
Over the years of building, upgrading, optimizing and scratching my head I have developed piles of notes.

I have searched and looked for a all-in-one vegas/video optimizing guide.
Yes I’ve seen the Videoguys windows setup guide and others but to collectively pool our Vegas minds and make one directed towards Vegas and their users.
Granted I haven’t seen the DVD’s produced by these fine moderaters and wouldnt want to undermine their efforts.
But more of a guide to get on the level.
    For instance….
-optimizing windows for large data transfer.
    -Drive formatting options pro’s, cons
-Handling background resources and startup progs
-Best setup for different levels of computers. Win98,ME,XP
-Video card needs ..or not (16 bit color or 32 etc..
    -Ram allocation

Then onto Vegas hints and increased performance tricks.
-separate OS drive and why (where default folders should reside)
    -render to different drive, why.
    -customizing toolbar, layout smartly
    -Disk management tips
-organizing your directory to make “working” sense
    -creating organizational skills for media
-default settings that should change based on what version of Vegas you have.
-Default render/pre-ren/audio record folders and why.
-certain levels of vegas having bad recording sync issues when using classic wave driver.
As well as general common work arounds

It shall not be discriminatory to age/power of any given machine.only the quiks and tips of the different levels

To pool minds and have a link to a common resource.
Much like Edwards newsletter site yet more printable and reference-able .
    Any thoughts ??
or does this exist somewhere in perfection.

Thank you for your kind input
