I am using Pavilion dm4, which I got couple months ago. And it has couple USB 3.0s.

Do you think it would work with an ASUS N53SV-B1? You can google the name and see the exact specs on Newegg I would greatly appreciate your help, because I won’t to know whether to buy the shuttle or re-buy a HD PVR (I sold my old one)
