G5 Dual, 1GB ram, OS 10.3.9, QT 7, 9.6 GB of available space

I am having trouble of late opening folders. There are certain folders that I can no longer access and when I try, I get the S Bof D and have to force quit out to get control again. I repaired permissions, rebooted, and so on, but to no avail. Any thoughts, folks? Thanks.

Sounds like it’s time to backup and buy a new HDD.

Might pay to run Disk Warrior over the system before hand to help ensure the data can be accessed.
