    Hey guys —

Just wanted to give you a warning —

Our workflow now is run C4D on the OS X side of a Quad Xeon, and then use AE on the windows side with nucleo for final composites. The workflow is good, its really quick.
However we ran into a small quirk — you can’t import the camera into the Windows side of AE — UNLESS THE .AEC FILE IS ON THE WINDOWS PARTITION.

Its happening on both my macbookslow and the quad Xeon 3.0.

I use a similar workflow… You can run Macdrive on the XP side to access your OS X partition…works great…heres a link…

I use MacDrive as well, and I like the added functionality it gives me… but I have experienced issues with file names from time to time, I recommend setting file names to be “Most Compatible.” Although this will sometimes change the names of your files when you view them in XP it’s better than not being able to open the files! =O

We have macdrive, but it’ll only read the AEC file on the windows end.

    STRANGE!
