    Hi all,

So while filming an interview for a documentry, I did the mother of all blunders. I placed my subject far too close to a white wall, where the lights easily cast shadows. Basically broke a rule of thumb.

Because of how good the interview was, I don’t want to neglect the footage just yet.. So here’s what I had in mind:

I want to remove the said subject from the whitewall by tracking him in mocha, before moving back After Effects where I can apply the rotos. Since this is a time consuming endeavor, I want to know if this is a feasible solution.

Kindly note that I shot this on an NEX FS700, using the regular compressions the camera offers. No raw stuff.
