A Few Questions
Ok, here goes. I currently only use Vegas to remix and mashup works of film. Now I want to use after effects and take it up a notch. I purchase the software, but I have a few questions. I have this video posted on YouTube….

but i want to take out the strobes and what not I have in there now and build some particle explosions, stars, bright lines, etc. in after effects. my questions are this, do i simply take the tracks out with the strobes in vegas, re-render and then open up the file in after effects? or do i build these in after effects and somehow input them into vegas. if i re-render in vegas, what format should the video be in for after effects.
second question, are there any tutorials to accomplish what i am talking about. free plugins? any help would really be great.

Just go to videocopilot.net and click on free tutorials. Find about particles. I think there are 5-7 tutorials just like you show above..
