A few questions from Final Cut editor new to PP

Just saw retooled video on 7.1 October release and while they don’t mention option dragging, my other copy paste functionality and add edit functionality are both featured as new functions. The previous add edit method of patching tracks first is actually described as “a pain in the ass.” 🙂

Since I started this thread, I’ve learned a lot about PP.

What I still don’t get is why Final Cut could save favorite transitions 10 years ago, but the latest and greatest PP can’t do that??? (OK, I’m still on CS5, but you know what I mean).

I’m not a programmer and maybe I’m missing something, but with all the bells and whistles PP has, I’d think it would be so easy to save favorite transitions.

We also have the new Final Cut X (yuk), and even that can’t save favorites.

Maybe someone can school me otherwise.
