A case of a disappearing file
Usng Studio platinum 13, I created a.vf project with various tracks on it.
Static png graphics, spot sound effects all on differnt tracks
It also had the main MP4 video and audio track from my galaxy s4Several times today this mp4 has dissappeared when i open up the project.
I get the message1234[1].mp4 not found at path
c:/users/appdata/local/micrososoft
Why is vegas losing track of the mp4 in a saved project?
And why would it be looking inside a deep microsoft folder?I have had to start from scratch more than once today

Did you by chance drag the file from Microsoft Outlook to the timeline? Outlook will temporarily save an attachment to a directory like that and then remove it when you quit Outlook. If this was a bad guess, then where is the file at the time you place it on the Vegas timeline?

It had been on my desktop.Not sure why it wasnt there now
So I redragged it from my s4 and repointed vegas to the new copy and it worked.
Not sure why it lost track of the original file though and why it retained the path above
