Does anyone know of a way to make or trick Resolve 10 into reading 96kHz audio files?

I have a FCPX project with a large number of 96kHz audio files that I’ve spent days syncing, trimming and adding metadata to.

Unfortunately i discovered when I exported my project XML, that Resolve 10 does NOT recognize these 96 kHz files.

To make matters worse, if I simply try resampling the existing 96KHz files to 48kHz, FCPX DOES NOT allow relinking, even if done manually!

So now I am faced with the option of having to start from scratch with resampled 48kHz files, re-importing into FCPX, and losing a few days work.

    Can anyone suggest a workaround?

I think part of the problem is that I can’t seem to be able to resample my audio AND keep the files the same duration. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Simply changing the sampling rate from 96 to 48 results in a much longer audio file(with reduced pitch)
