880m with 4800mq VS 870m with i7-4940MX
Hi i’m going to get an MSI dominator for AE with 32gigs RAM and SSD. What do you guys think will be better, the 880m with 4800mq OR 870m with i7-4940MX which will cost $300 more? do you think the extra processing power is worth the $300 and having to get a lower GPU? (I can’t afford an 880m with 4940MX)
do you guys think the boost in performance from the 4800mq to i7-4940MX will be worth the extra $300? will the difference be significant or hardly noticable? basically upgrading 4800MQ to i7-4910MQ is $245 then i7-4910MQ to i7-4940MX is another $550 and the difference seems to be .2GHz, what do you think i should go with?
