8-point Mask
Here’s an alternative Mask effect for FCPX with 8 control points instead of 4. I don’t have much use for it myself but the standard Mask seemed awfully limited and I just had to see if it could be done.
Just unzip and copy the effect into an appropriate place in your “Movies / Motion Templates” folder.

I just noticed that on my machine the “points” in the eight point matte do not show up. In the 4 point matte the radio buttons are there, but in this eight point matte they are not.
