    7d freezing

    I was doing a live video shoot and the 7d said after the first song, unable to access card please reinsert or format card. i replaced it and later got the same error with the second card , the camera then shut off and i replaced the battery. I am very concerned that this new camera is unreliable and concerend that the camera might be grey market and or illeagally refurbed. Not sure what i should do to deal with this intermittancy.     this is the message i get Err 02, Ext. media cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change or format card with camera

    Does the CF card work in a card reader? Have your tested the 7D with a different card? What about reformatting the card if that is the only card which brings up the error? Is it a CF card or a microdrive?

    i think it was a 30 meg per sec card and i went to a 60 no freezing now
