Hello. I’m curious about Neoscene and the raw files in premiere pro. I’ve been trying to find the answer to this, but it isn’t completely clear, at least not to me. Can you help?
If I convert my native 7D files using cineform, are those files OK for me to go all the way through the project, in terms of getting prints made to send to festivals and all of that? Or do I need to put the native files back in there? Assuming I’d set the quality settings to their highest in neoscene, of course.
    Thanks!

Why are you converting. Doesn’t your version of PPro take the 7D footage natively?

yes, but is that the right thing to do if the computer seems a little sluggish in processing them? I open the files, and they play fairly well, but sometimes the audio takes a while to come on and the playback isn’t perfect. And this is a fairly new computer, so it probably shouldn’t be that slow unless the footage is just too powerful.
