7.5gb project wont fit on 8.5gb DVD???
I am using Vegas Movie Studio 4 + DVD Arch. Studio 2. I just finished a project that it says is 7.5gb in the ‘disk space used’ window at the bottom right of the screen. And after telling it to ‘Prepare/Burn’ it acted as if it was going to finish but at the end the program all of a sudden decided the media (Verbatim DVD+R Double layer/single sided 8.5gb) was not big enough for the project. I am working on a brand new Toshiba Laptop that uses a “SuperMulti” drive that says it supports +/-R double layer. Help???

If you KNOW it is small enough, tell it to render anyway and then, when it’s done, verify it really is small enough before burning.
