When I render out a project on best settings, it plays in full screen. Perhaps I am just use to the bars at the top and bottom, but my composition is playing in what looks to be 4:3.

I had this problem recently as well – I would render the project out, drop it into Premiere (in a widescreen Pro project) and it played and edited like a widescreen video. when i would drop it into Encore and burn a DVD, it would playback in full screen.

i never had this issue when I didn’t treat the footage in AE 7 – or any AE for that matter. When I would just edit raw footage and drop it into Encore, i would get widescreen playback. I can only think that i am rendering incorrectly from AE.

Any thoughts on what stupid thing i am doing or not doing? ARRRGH! lol

Hi David – I am still running into trouble. My comp is 720X480 set at widescreen 1.2

However when I render it out, it is still rendering at 4:3! It is acting this way both on my computer media players and when i burn to a DVD. I went through the output settings and found nothing that I may have over looked. What am I doing wrong?
