720P24 down to SD for DVD real time TC dubs
The client just decided she needs our 720/24pn on time code dvds for her other partner to help with the edit.
We are shooting 2 to 3 days (8 hr days) a month of Power Points for this client. This week alone we logged 509GB of 720p on P2 cards.
I have a Kona Lhe card. Is there a way to drag a days worth of MXF files into a FCP7 time line (we have Calibrated software for realtime MXF playback) and play them real time out thru the Kona card, downconverted to SD so my Panasonic DVD recorder can do a compressed 3hr DVD record/burn????
Is there a better way to do bulk HD to SD TC dvds???

The AJA KONA LHe can be configured for realtime downconversion of 720p to SD.
Since the majority of your questions are not specifically about AJA hardware or software operation, but rather workflow choices, you might consider contacting an AJA Value Added Reseller in your area. Many of AJA’s resellers are leading system integrators and workflow specialists. They would likely have suggestions for your particular project.
