  720p to 1080p output. Strobing. And non-drop.

  I have a Quncktime uncompressed 10 bit 720p23.98 timeline. I can play it on a Panasonic HD monitor as 720p23.98 or as 1080p23.98. Both look fine.

  But when I connect to a D5 deck (Panasonic 3700), only the 720p looks fine. The 1080 strobes somewhat.

  Also, the deck can only record as 720p59.94. AND, the client wants a transfer at 720p59.94 but with non-drop time code.

  I’m from a PAL place, sot this is making my head swim a bit. Anyone with any ideas?
