    Hello,
I am trying to compress 2 hours of 720p footage onto a Dual Layer DVD and trying to maintain the best quality possible at a good bitrate.

I was wanting to see if anyone had any experience in this area. I really just need to know at what res to compress this at, and what is a safe BitRate to use. Like I said, this is going to a Dual Layered DVD+R, NOT AN HD-DVD or Blue-Ray. I would like to get the filesize around 6gb, so I can have some room to play with audio and menus.

    Thanks for any help!

It’s going to be standard def so I’d go with the recommended for a 60-minute video in compressor as you have twice the space in a DVD-DL.
