Quicktime is reporting the wrong pixel size. Don’t worry about it.

This is a bug that has to do with the “Conform Aperture to” setting in the Presentation pane of the Properties window in Quicktime Player. It doesnt cause any problems in FCP, which interprets the size correctly. You can possibly get Quicktime Player to properly report the frame size by playing with this setting, if it bothers you.

    Thanks guys.

    Blackmagic 720P 59.94 1280×720 8bit uncompressed.

Edit then sent to compressor to send a h.264 to client in states so need to correct the QT. Will have a play.

Will 1080P (i) be the same?

QT export as 1280×720 with selecting HD seems to export a diff size than it says :-/

2 settings appear for all in QT pro export.. 16:9 or HD .. very confusing which to use.

Genraly set custom and 1280×720 to make sure.

Thanks for prompt reply.. much appreciated.
