720p 23.98 Uncompressed Layback Options
Hi Ive just been handed a QT movie 1280X720 23.98 Uncompressed. I need to lay it back to HDCAM SR. Should I just throw it into a 59.94 timeline and layback to 720p 59.94? The client is flexible with the delivery spec, I initially wanted to upres to 1080 via the kona 3 but it is introducing a bit of softness that we’d like to avoid.
So is dropping into a 59.94 sequence my only real option here? Or is there some way to layback 720p 23.98 that I am unaware of?

No, simply choose the 720p 23.98 VFR Uncompressed easy setup with 2 23.98 timeline. The KOna will add the proper pulldown to get to 59.94.
