72024p workflow from FCP 5.1.4 to AE 6.5
I shot with the HVX200 for the first time using 720, 24p. I shot against green screen and need to go to AE to do compositing.
My understanding is that Panasonic is DCVPRO but my export options in FCP 5.1.4 are:
DVCPRO HD 1080i50
DVCPRO HD 1080i60
DVCPRO HD 50p
DVCPRO HD 60or:
HDV 720p24
which of these do I choose? Or do I need to move to FCP 6?
My second question is if it is possible to use AE6.5 for this? When I choose my composition settings the only option is: HDTV 1280×720.

Export a Quicktime Movie…self contained using the sequence settings. This gets you a quicktime file that is lossless.
Avoid HDV…that is NOT DVCPRO HD, and will make it look worse.
1280×720 is the dimensions of DVCPRO HD. AE has DVCPRO HD as a codec.

i still have one question, in AE6.5 the composition settings option says: HDTV 1280×720…and when i import the file, it is smaller than the window that it creates for those composition settings. ?
I am trying to figure out if 6.5 has settings for 720 24p.

After you chose those settings, did you choose NEW COMPOSITION? ANd is it smaller all around? Or just on the sides?
